HubSpot Extension Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the RevDrive HubSpot extension (the “Extension”) handles information when installed in a Chromium-based browser such as Google Chrome. It applies only to the Extension itself and not to the broader RevDrive.ai website or any consulting engagement we run for a client.

The Extension is a productivity tool that runs alongside HubSpot in your browser. It is built and maintained by RevDrive.ai Inc.

To function, the Extension reads information that is already present in your HubSpot account or the page you are viewing inside HubSpot. This may include:

• HubSpot CRM records you are actively viewing — contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and their associated properties.
• Authentication tokens issued by HubSpot through their official OAuth flow, used to identify your session.
• Local Extension settings you configure (preferences, toggles, view state).

The Extension does not read browsing history, content from non-HubSpot tabs, keystrokes outside its own UI, clipboard contents, or any other data from sites unrelated to HubSpot.

Data accessed by the Extension is used solely to provide Extension functionality — for example, surfacing related records, formatting CRM data, or assisting with workflows inside HubSpot.

We do not:

• Sell or rent your data to third parties.
• Use your data to train machine-learning or generative AI models.
• Use the Extension or its permissions to track you across other websites.
• Share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data the Extension touches stays on your device, inside your browser’s built-in storage (chrome.storage) or in memory while the Extension is running. Authentication tokens are stored securely using browser-provided storage APIs.

The Extension does not send data to any RevDrive-operated server. The only outbound connections it makes are to HubSpot and to Anthropic’s Claude API, both over encrypted HTTPS, and only when required to deliver a feature you have invoked.

The Extension communicates with the following third-party services strictly to provide its functionality:

• HubSpot — the platform the Extension is built for. Your interactions with HubSpot are governed by HubSpot’s own privacy policy.
• Anthropic (Claude) — if you use AI-assisted features in the Extension, the relevant prompt and CRM context may be sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate a response. Anthropic does not train its models on data sent through the API. See Anthropic’s privacy policy for details.

We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose your data to any party not listed above, except where required by law.

Chrome requires extensions to declare the permissions they use. The Extension uses only the minimum permissions required to function:

• Host access to HubSpot domains (app.hubspot.com, *.hubspot.com) — required to read and augment CRM records inside HubSpot.
• Storage — required to remember your Extension preferences and your authenticated session.
• Identity / OAuth — required to complete HubSpot’s sign-in flow on your behalf.

The Extension does not request access to all websites, your tab history, downloads, cookies on unrelated sites, or any sensitive permissions beyond what HubSpot integration requires.

You can uninstall the Extension at any time from your browser’s extension settings. Uninstalling removes all locally stored Extension data from your browser.

Because RevDrive.ai Inc. does not operate a backend service for the Extension, we do not hold a copy of your HubSpot data on our servers — there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Data lives in your browser, in your HubSpot account, and (for AI-assisted features) is transmitted to Anthropic for the purpose of generating a response.

To request deletion of HubSpot data, use HubSpot’s own privacy controls. To request deletion of data transmitted to Anthropic, follow Anthropic’s privacy process. If you have a question or concern, email us at connect@revdrive.ai and we will respond within thirty (30) days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. We will honor any valid request consistent with those laws to the extent it applies to data we control.

The Extension is intended for business use by HubSpot customers and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Extension or via this page in advance of taking effect.
